With the health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, staff and their families as the utmost priority, and taking into consideration the current restrictions on sports events and foreign travel, as well as the great uncertainty surrounding the further unfolding of the pandemic situation in Poland and other European countries, we have decided to postpone this year’s edition of the event. The next competition will take place in February 2021.

The jubilee 10th edition of the RONDO 1 Run Up, originally scheduled for 17 October 2020 as host to the Towerrunning European Championships, will be held at a later date, in early 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“It is our ambition and aim to hold the competition in February of next year,” said Piotr Jakóbik, director of the RONDO 1 Run Up. “We are confident that in a few months we will be able to meet under safe conditions and experience the magic of the jubilee 10th RONDO 1 Run Up. We will announce the exact date soon.”

In arrangement with the Towerrunning World Association, the event will maintain its status as the European championship, welcoming the best towerrunners in Europe and, as is the tradition for the event, accompanied by a run for amateurs.

The RONDO 1 Run Up is a charity sports event, and the jubilee edition of the competition will once again support SOS Children’s Villages in Poland. To date, the event has contributed over PLN 225,000 to the SOS Children’s Villages Association in Kraśnik.

We look forward to seeing you in February!
